It's official. Just when I think she can't get any ding-battier, she has to go and do something like this:
Here's our former potential VP 'pardoning' a Thanksgiving turkey in Alaska -- while standing in front of the slaughter line.
You really have to give credit to the TV camera person, though. This is framed so brilliantly it cannot be an accident.
Niiiiiice.
In other news, I just got a little book that one of my neighbor's just published on Minnesota's first full-service airport -- Curtiss Field. Maybe not the most exciting reading for most of you, but this airport used to reside just 2 blocks to the north of me. Fascinating. Charles Lindbergh even made a stop here before he became famous. Anyway, you can read about it here if you're interested...
To sum up, I live with 5 or 6 blocks of Minnesota's first airport, the State Fair, and a zoo and conservatory. Beat that.
